The Any Craps bet: The craps bet called "Any Craps" is a one-roll bet where it will win when a 2, 3, or 12 appears on the very next
roll. It will lose when any other number appears on the next roll. The minimum amount for an Any Craps bet is $1, assuming the craps
table where you're playing uses $1 chips.. The payoff odds are 7:1. The Any Craps space is positioned in the middle of the craps
table layout and it is normally handled by the stickman. It is not a self-service bet. To make an Any Craps bet, get the stickman's
attention and then toss a chip to the middle of the craps table. At the same time that you toss your chip to him, tell him that you want
an Any Craps bet.
The craps table layout may have a space in the middle of the table marked as "Any Craps." Some casinos have small circles near the
center of the table and each circle contains the letter "C." The "C" stands for "Craps" bet so if the dealer puts your chip in one of those
circles, everyone knows that you have an Any Craps bet working for the next roll.
Some people use the Any Craps bet to hedge another bet. So, the Any Craps is also known as a"Crap Check." Let's assume you
make a $5 Pass Line bet for a new game that's about to start. You then toss a $1 chip to the stickman and tell him you want an Any
Craps bet. For a come-out roll, you lose your Pass Line bet if the shooter rolls a craps (that is, a 2, 3, or 12). But because you have a
$1 Any Craps bet also working on the come-out roll, the Any Craps bet wins $4. So, in this case, you lose your $5 Pass Line bet but
you win $4 for your Any Craps bet.
