Play smart...learn how to play casino craps the right way!
Remember, learn how to play casino craps the right way!
My book teaches you to play in reality, not Fantasyland.
Let's talk briefly about the Craps Don't Pass bet.  Don't Pass craps bet is just about the opposite of the Pass Line craps bet (we talked
about this bet on a different page).  Like the craps
Pass Line bet, the Don't Pass is a Flat bet that a craps players makes just before a
come-out roll (the come-out roll is the first roll of a new craps game).  The Don't Pass part of the craps table layout is by the Pass Line
and is marked "Don't Pass Bar 12," in black letters.  The Don't Pass line is often known the "back line" (the Pass Line is sometimes
called the "front line").

Craps table minimums and maximums are the same as they are for the craps Pass Line.  If there's a red sign on the inside of the craps
table showing a $5 min bet and a $2,000 max bet, then that means the Don't Pass bet must be at least $5, and it can't be greater than
$2,000.

The Don't Pass craps bet is what's called a self-service bet where you make it yourself (that is, you don't need to get the dealer involved
and you don't need the dealer's help to make the bet).  In other words, you make the bet yourself---you put your chips on the table
yourself.  When you throw the dice for a come-out roll, it can have one of four results: 1) if an 11 or 7 shows, then the craps Don't Pass
bet loses; 2) if a 3 or 2 shows, then the Don't Pass craps bet wins; 3) if a 12 shows, then it is a tie; and 4) if a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10
shows, then you establish what's called a "point."  After a point number is established, if a 7 shows before the point number, then the
Don't Pass craps bet wins. When making a Don't Pass craps bet, you want a craps (i.e., 2 or 3) to show on the come-out roll. If a point
has been established, then you want a 7 to show before the point number.
